Shire Stables

Shire Stables was built in the 1890’s and was once the stable for the farm horses.

It has been converted as a comfortable holiday cottage with stable doors, fitted carpets, television (freeview) with video/dvd, electric heating and a large fully equipped kitchen.

There is a very spacious sitting room with patio doors opening onto the private garden, and a dining area in the kitchen. Also, a downstairs W.C.

Upstairs, the cottage can sleep 5 - one twin bedroom with views of the beautiful Sid Valley, one walk through single bedroom, and one double bedroom, which overlooks the courtyard toward the grade II listed threshing barn.

The bathroom is fitted with both bath and shower, and has a wash basin and W.C.

The Shire Stables enclosed garden with its scented cottage flowers is the ideal place to relax with a glass of wine on a balmy Devon evening!
