As well as our amazing situation, with the best of Devon right on the doorstep, there are some very special facilities at Boswell Farm itself, so you can enoy your holiday in any number of ways without even leaving the farm!
THE FARM WALK
Boswell Farm is spread over 45 acres of pasture, arable land and woodland with the delightful Snodbrook running through its heart. There is a footpath, with rests, that will take you right around the farm - alongside the brook, over bridges, and through the fields with spectacular views of the Sweetcombe and Sid Valleys. As well as our goats and geese, you might see kingfishers, dragonflies, buzzards, foxes, and other Devon wildlife. Amongst the trees and flowers are ancient oaks, willows, and a whole host of delicate widlflowers.
THE ALL WEATHER TENNIS COURT
The tennis court has recently been resurfaced to a very high standard, so for practising your game whilst on holiday Boswell Farm is definitely the place to come. Remember the sea is only 2 miles if you want to take a refreshing dip afterwards! We have tennis racquets here should you require them.
THE CHILDREN'S PLAY AREA
We've recently added a small adventure playground for the kids, making Boswell farm an even more delightful place for children.
THE POND
We have a serene natural pond, well stocked for coarse fishing. It is the perfect place for an afternoon sitting on the shady bank with a fishing rod or a picnic basket - whichever takes your fancy! There are benches if you just want to take in the calm of the water on a warm Devon evening ...
Fishing for brown trout is also possible in the Snodbrook, which runs through the farm.
PILATES CLASSES & PILATES HOLIDAYS
Regular pilates classes are held from the Old Kennels Studios. As a qualified pilates instructor of over 25 years, I can advise you on the right class to attend if you so wish. I also offer one to one sessions, for both beginners and more advanced students, and if required can tailor a complete and personal programme for your own PILATES HOLIDAY!
THE OLD KENNELS STUDIO
The Old Kennels Studio is a beautiful and versatile studio space at the top of the farm, available for hire, and suitable for any number of activities.
It is mostly used for pilates, yoga and painting, but is eminently suitable for all sorts of arts activities, blessings, retreats and meetings. Have a look at the Old Kennels website for more information.
